Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Dine219 (“Dine219,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone.

Reviews and other things you post

• Review places you've actually been, and be honest. Share your own experience.
• Don't post reviews of a business you own, work for, or compete with, or reviews you were paid or rewarded to write.
• No hateful, threatening, harassing, obscene, or illegal content, no one else's private information, and nothing you don't have the right to share.
• We check reviews with written comments before they're published, and we may decline, edit for formatting, or remove any content that breaks these rules.
• You keep ownership of what you post. You give Dine219 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and share it in connection with running and promoting Dine219, including on restaurant pages and in our apps. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared or kept in backups.

Restaurant accounts

• If you manage a restaurant on Dine219, you confirm you're authorized to act for that business and to add the team members you invite.
• You're responsible for keeping your listing, menu, prices, hours, and specials accurate, and for honoring specials as posted.
• You must own or have permission to use the photos, logos, and text you upload, and you give Dine219 a license to display them as described above.
• Replies to reviews must follow the same content rules as reviews. Don't offer rewards for positive reviews or try to identify or contact reviewers outside Dine219 about their review.
• Private notes from diners are for improving your service. Don't publish them.

Things you can't do

• Scrape, copy in bulk, or resell Dine219 content.
• Interfere with or overload the site, or try to get around its security or access controls.
• Use Dine219 to send spam or for any unlawful purpose.

Paid plans

Dine219 is free for diners. If we offer paid plans for restaurants, their price, billing, and cancellation terms will be shown before you subscribe.

Ending your use of Dine219

You can stop using Dine219 and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

Disclaimers

Dine219 is provided “as is.” Restaurant details such as menus, prices, hours, and specials come from restaurants and can change, so please confirm anything important with the restaurant. Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not Dine219.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Dine219 isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from content posted by users or restaurants. Our total liability for any claim related to Dine219 is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or $50.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know before they take effect. Continuing to use Dine219 after that means you accept the updated terms.
